Presented by the Newberg Camellia Festival

Date: Saturday, April 12, 2014

Time: 9:00am - 10K, 9:05am - 5K

Location: Chehalem Cultural Center (415 E. Sheridan St) - Newberg, Oregon

Distances: 10K run / 5K run/walk

Course: Our fun run begins in the heart of Historic Downtown Newberg. Enjoy the surrounding mountain views and peaceful neighborhoods as the 5k and 10k courses wind through Newberg on this mostly flat elevation course. Click here for a COURSE MAP.

Entry Fees: $25 - All ages, by April 7, 2014, $30 - All ages, from April 8, on.   Add $5 on race day.  All runners receive a $10 FitRight NW Gift Card if registered by April 7! 

Registration:   Register now for the annual run which ends in the middle of a terrific festival!   Enjoy refreshments and entertainment at the Newberg Camellia
Festival after you finish.   Click below for online registration - registrants will not be charged a service fee to register.

                                                                                                    

Packet Pickup: On race day from 7:30am to 8:45am, near the starting line.

Awards: Prizes will be awarded to the first male and female finishers in each five-year age group in both the 5K and 10K. In celebration of the Camellia Festival, and all registrants will receive a potted, one-gallon Camellia. Cool door prizes will also be awarded. Enjoy the Camellia Festival at the Chehalem Cultural Center after you finish, for refreshments and entertainment.

Age Groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over.

Shuttles: A free shuttle will run all day to several free nearby parking lots who have agreed to open parking during the event, including George Fox University, Kelly Realty, American Title, Newberg Graphic and the public lot on 2nd Street.

Beneficiary:  Proceeds from the event will benefit Chehalem Park and Recreation District Youth Sports Programs and Scholarships.
