Event Description
Distances
This event features an 8K (4.97 mile) run, a 5K run/walk and again this year a 12K (7.50 mile) run that will consists of both loops, minus a short section. Also the traditional Kids 400 meter fun run.

Directions
In Eugene, take Chambers north, which becomes River Road. After Chambers becomes River Road, go .1 mile past the Northwest Expressway to the first street, which is Fir Lane. Turn right on Fir Lane and proceed to the park. In Eugene, from the north, take River Road south to Fir Lane and turn left, then proceed to the park.

Courses
The 8K run starts at Maurie Jacobs Park, follows the bike paths along the Willamette River, crosses the Owosso Bridge, proceeds south to the Greenway Bridge, has a short (1/4 mile) out and back section, then crosses the bridge and finishes. The 12K will combine both the 8K and 5K courses, but with a shorter (.1 mile) out-and-back spur by Valley River Center, than the 8K distance. Click here for a PRINTABLE 12K COURSE MAP. The 12K has a .1 mile out-and-back section, while the 8K has a .27 mile out-and-back section.
Entry Fees
$20 adults, ages 17 & under AND 60 & over, deduct $5, through December 6 at 12 noon. Add $5 on race day. The kids fun run is free for kids 10 & under. Technical long sleeve event shirts are available for $10 - shirts are only guaranteed if ordered by Monday, November 30.
Registration
In person at the Eugene Running Company (116 Oakway Center) through Friday, December 6 at 12 noon. Entry forms will be available soon. Online registration will be available through the link below.
Packet Pickup
Packets will be available on Friday, December 6th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Sports Authority at Valley River Center, or on race day, from 10:30am to 11:45am.
Awards
Awards will be presented in the 12K, 8K and 5K runs to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group. All fun run participants will receive ribbons. All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings. Also, along the route, course marshals will be passing out special candy canes with secret prize codes - be sure to bring your cane to the awards presentation to see if you've won a unique prize.
