Finish Location: Armitage Park, 90064 Coburg Road (Eugene)
Course: One of the most scenic runs ever! The course winds it's way through the Hayden Bridge neighborhood, before heading out onto Old Mohawk Road, McKenzie View Drive, and then a glorious finish in Armitage Park. The first five miles are mostly flat, the middle six miles are gently rolling, and the final two miles are completely flat along Coburg Road and through Armitage Park. Participants must stay on the right side of the road (with traffic) until they approach Marcola Road, and will then be directed onto the left side of the road (against traffic) for the remainder of the event. Aid Stations: There will be six aid stations along the course at: 3.8mi, 5.7mi, 8mi, 10mi and 12mi. Aid stations will be stocked with water, Gatorade and ClifShots.
Finisher Medals: All finishers will receive a commemorative finisher medallion.
Time Limit: The course limit for this event is 3 1/2 hours.
Entry Fees: $50 for adults, through February 14, $60 for adults from February 15 through March 22. Seniors (60 & over) and Youth (17 & under) deduct $5. On race day, add $10 to all entry fees. Long-sleeve tech shirts are available for an additional $10.
Registration: In person at Eugene Running Company (116 Oakway Center) through Friday, March 21, at 12pm, or at packet pickup at the Hilton Garden Inn (Springfield) on Saturday, March 22, from 12pm to 4pm, or on race day from 7:00am to 8:30am at the starting line. Packet Pickup: On Saturday, March 22, from 12pm to 4pm, at the Hilton Garden Inn (3528 Gateway St, I-5 & Beltline in Springfield) in the "Library", or on race day at the starting line from 7:30am to 8:45am.
Shuttles: Participants will need to park at Armitage Park and then take a shuttle to the starting line at Emerald Dance Center. The shuttles will run from 7:00am to 8:15am. NOTE: The last shuttle will leave Armitage Park at 8:15am sharp!
Bag Drop: Participants can leave their clothing in a clearly marked bag (with name and bib number) at the starting line, to be transported to the finish. The clothing van will leave at 8:45am sharp.
Awards: Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers and top three in each age group. All participants are eligible for random prize drawings - prizes include 2 complimentary overnight stays at the Hilton Garden Inn in Springfield.
Age Groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over.
