RUN OR WALK FOR A CAUSE

Help to raise money for a great cause! Prioritize your health by staying active + participating in an event that directly supports some incredible nonprofit organizations.​ When you sign up, choose from one of the following charities that your run will benefit:

LOCATION

Anywhere! Trail, road, cross country style – your choice. Preferably outdoors, but your treadmill works, too.


DISTANCES

50K Challenge, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K


Run (or walk) your chosen distance, at your own pace, whenever and wherever you’d like. The goal of this event is to energize and applaud one another as we engage in physical activity and take care of ourselves, in whatever way that looks like for you. You can run, walk, jog, skip, stop and smell flowers -- it's all good!


TIME

  • Half Marathon, 10K + 5K - Complete your chosen distance anytime between Friday, August 7 and Sunday, August 9
  • 50K Challenge - Join the fun, start anytime + log 50K (31 Miles) by August 9!


50K CHALLENGE

New! Sign up for the 50K Challenge and complete 50K (31 Miles) by August 9. This is a challenge that can be accomplished from any location. Use a log to keep track of your miles/times (template below). Begin your challenge as soon as the day you sign up + add your miles over multiple days for a sum of 50K. This is a great way to push yourself to get out and walk every evening, run throughout the week and otherwise build upon your health + fitness goals. Once you've completed the challenge, upload your results and claim your bragging rights!

SHIRTS

Shirts are included with your entry, available in women's and men's sizes (shirt preview below), and guaranteed through July 27, 2020. Please make your shirt selection carefully during online registration when you decide between a men's/unisex size or a women's size shirt in the drop down menu.

VIRTUAL RACE DETAILS

You're invited to the Llama Lope, a running + walking event to bring community together and raise money for some incredible nonprofit organizations, while you work towards your personal health and fitness goals. Participating in a virtual race is a great way to motivate and encourage one another, building our sense of positivity and togetherness. Encourage your family and friends to sign up with you as a team, agree on a time to run and share your success with one another in the private Llama Lope Facebook Group.

HOW IT WORKS


1. REGISTER FOR YOUR VIRTUAL RACE

Sign up online -- choose your distance and the cause you want to support with your run. Each race package contains a unique race bib, a custom event shirt + a finisher’s medal mailed directly to you. You are contributing to a cause with a portion of your registration donated to a great nonprofit organization. If you plan to participate, don't wait to register! 2. RACE PACKET

Your event shirt, keepsake bib + medal will be shipped to you after you sign up. You do not have to wait for your bib to arrive to complete your race. Join the private Facebook Group, where you can connect with other participants and upload photos of you + your race swag!


3. RUN

Complete your virtual race (Half, 10K, 5K) anytime between August 7-9, at your own pace and wherever you like. 50K participants can start logging miles anytime, but complete by August 9. Snap a few photos to share later and build our sense of community, positivity + togetherness.


4. SEND YOUR RESULTS

Once results are finalized on the evening of August 9, you can print your personalized finisher certificate from the Llama Lope Results Website.


5. TAKE PHOTOS WITH YOUR MEDAL & SHARE YOUR RACE WITH US

We would love to hear about your race. Once you are registered, we invite you to join the official Llama LopeFacebook Group to share your photos/ videos/ awesomeness + engage with fellow participants.
