VIRTUAL RACE DETAILS
You're invited to the Miles of Mozart, a running + walking event to bring community together and raise money for some incredible nonprofit organizations, while you work towards your personal health and fitness goals. Participating in an in-person or virtual race is a great way to motivate and encourage one another, building our sense of positivity and togetherness. Encourage your family and friends to sign up with you as a team, agree on a time to run and share your success with us through social media.
HOW IT WORKS
1. REGISTER FOR YOUR VIRTUAL RACE
Sign up online -- choose your distance and the cause you want to support with your run. Each race package contains a unique race bib, a custom event shirt + a finisher’s medal mailed directly to you. You are contributing to a cause with a portion of your registration donated to a great nonprofit organization. If you plan to participate, don't wait to register! 2. RACE PACKET
Your event shirt, keepsake bib + medal will be shipped to you after you sign up. You do not have to wait for your bib to arrive to complete your race.
Complete your virtual race (Half, 10K, 5K) anytime between September 25-27, at your own pace and wherever you like. 50K participants can start logging miles anytime, but complete by September 27. Snap a few photos to share later and build our sense of community, positivity + togetherness.
4. SEND YOUR RESULTS
Submit your finish time (along with optional photos) online using this link: SUBMIT YOUR RESULTS HERE
Once results are finalized on the evening of September 27, you can print your personalized finisher certificate from the Miles Of Mozart Results Website.
5. TAKE PHOTOS WITH YOUR MEDAL & SHARE YOUR RACE WITH US
We would love to hear about your race. Once you are registered, we invite you to share your photos/ videos/ awesomeness + engage with fellow participants through Facebook and Instagram.
6. COSTUME CONTEST
So....would you like to add an extra element to your adventure? Dress up in costume as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart for your run or walk. Then send us your photo, add it to your results and post it on Facebook or Instagram. The best costume award winner will receive an Itunes $50 gift card (no, it doesn't have to be used for Mozart music).

VIRTUAL: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27
RUN OR WALK FOR A CAUSE
Help to raise money for a great cause! Prioritize your health by staying active + participating in an event that directly supports some incredible nonprofit organizations. When you sign up, choose from one of the following charities that your run will benefit:
Proceeds from this event will go directly to your chosen beneficiary.
In-Person: Alton Baker Park, Eugene, Oregon - Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 9am.
Virtual: Anywhere! Trail, road, cross country style – your choice. Preferably outdoors, but your treadmill works, too.
Virtual: 50K Challenge, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K
Run (or walk) your chosen distance, at your own pace, whenever and wherever you’d like. The goal of this event is to energize and applaud one another as we engage in physical activity and take care of ourselves, in whatever way that looks like for you. You can run, walk, jog, skip, stop and smell flowers -- it's all good!
Sign up for the 50K Challenge and complete 50K (31 Miles) by September 27. This is a challenge that can be accomplished from any location. Use a log to keep track of your miles/times (template below). Begin your challenge as soon as the day you sign up + add your miles over multiple days for a sum of 50K. This is a great way to push yourself to get out and walk every evening, run throughout the week and otherwise build upon your health + fitness goals. Once you've completed the challenge, upload your results and claim your bragging rights!
SOME VIRTUAL COURSE OPTIONS
Below are a few course options that could be used - courses that have been used for other events in the past. While the course links have a stated start and end point, these routes could be accessed from a number of different locations, with the total distance being the same.
You can use mapmyrun.com or your GPS watch to help you track your miles.
Shirts are included with your entry, available in women's and men's sizes, and guaranteed through September 22, 2020. Please make your shirt selection carefully during online registration when you decide between a men's/unisex size or a women's size shirt in the drop down menu.
